Study Visit at the Firefighters’ College in Regensburg, Germany

The UNICOPS consortium recently visited the Firefighters’ College in Regensburg, a leading institution in firefighting and emergency response education. This visit represents a key step in building stronger connections between academia and practice to enhance CBRNe preparedness and resilience across Europe’s institutions.

These collaborative visits bring together diverse expertise from safety officers, researchers, practitioners, and trainers, creating opportunities for practical exchange and shared learning. The Regensburg visit included experts from Safety Core, University of Lodz, RESET – Research and Education in Social Empowerment and Transformation, Polish Platform for Homeland Security, and HföD – University of Applied Sciences for Public Service in Bavaria.
